Well, it’s almost here… Eeeeeee!!!!… and this wee Catgirl is happy to say Carolyn and I are off for the next 3 days to visit with her sister’s family for the Holiday… Yay!! I was soooo worried we wouldn’t get the chance to keep our Holiday tradition alive after Carolyn’s parents went to visit with them over Thanksgiving last month. It appears my worries were right, and it was indeed an escalation by Mrs. Simms to try to isolate us from spending any time with Sandra and her family. But… Sandra headed her off from making a visit again for Christmas by telling her she’d already promised the spare room for us to stay over. She didn’t go into any details when she called to let us know they were expecting us, but I know she must have taken some serious flak for that. Nope. Glad I wasn’t privy to that conversation….
Anyways… we’re almost out the door to go, but I didn’t want to leave without a quick wish to all my regular Gentle Visitors, casual readers, and distant blogging friends for a “Very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all!!”
Awwww… heck… and what would a “Nekolishous Catgirl Christmas” be without a horror themed video goodie? Here’s a video for all you good lil’ boys and girls… Wierd Al Yankovic with “The Night Santa Went Crazy”… Hehehe… Yep, I’m such a twisted lil’ dweeb at times. π
Merry Christmas dear princess π
Happy Xmas π
Why thank you both!! π
We just got back late last evening after a great relaxing visit with the family. Naturally I had to go into work super early today to take charge of all those little details that always slip by when I’m not there, but hopefully I’ll be able to post all about our trip soon. Till then!! π
I hope the two of you had a really good time. I feel awful that Carolyn’s parents are so stuck in their rut. Maybe someday they’ll realize what they’ve done. I’m thrilled that her sister is so accepting though. Big hugs to both of you. π I’m looking forward to reading about your trip.
We did. This last mean spirited plot by Carolyn’s Mom to try to further isolate us only makes me more certain that she’s never going to come around to accepting things. I’m just glad that both Sandra and my sweet Carolyn inherited a lot of her stubborn resolve to allow them to stand up to her and not let themselves be bullied. π¦
I’m sorry it’s taken so long to get around to posting about our trip, but work always has a way of sucking up my free time near any major holiday. I’m off today though, and it’s my plan to give some time to writing it all out this afternoon, so you’ll be able to read all the boring lil’ details pretty soon. π
A late merry Christmas to you and Carolyn π
Glad to know you can spend it again with her sister’s family
It was a fun time as usual, Novia. Each visit makes me wish we could see them all more often.
Nice to see you back from your hiatus and I hope to read soon what you were up to as well. π
