Ahhhhhh… another week slides by as 2009 continues and it’s my day off, so it’s time to make a quick post to let you all know what’s up in my lil’ corner of the world.
Recently, I’ve been sprucing the ol’ Litterbox up a bit here and there, adding a new “Recent Comments” widget to my sidebar, and I’m playing around with some other things to polish the look around here too. I found a couple of new Themes too, but none of them have really grabbed me with their appearance so I probably wont be switching from the current look anytime soon. It occurs to me, that I ought to find out what sorts of features you, the visitor, might like to see, so if you have any ideas just speak up…. I can always use the suggestions.
The Spirits have been kind to me, and I’m feeling fine again. Also, I’m getting another flood of stuff in the mail this week! “Hard Revenge Milly”, “Ghost Legend”, the new Korean one “Truck”, some Russian DVD’s, CD’s and stuff, lots more Thai music, and I’m hoping for some Bulgarian Chalga CD’s to show up…… Ahhhh! And the Region 1 DVD of “Chocolate” is releasing a couple weeks early. Boy is the Mailman gonna hate this lil’ Catgirl!
Also…. I got a bit of a surprise in the mail just yesterday. I hadn’t even given much thought about the holiday coming up until I received a mysterious package in the mail containing a box of chocolate truffles, a single red rose and a note from an anonymous stranger inviting me out for dinner at our local Moroccan restaurant for Valentines Day! Apparently Neko’s got herself a “Secret Admirer”…. or a crazy stalker… (Please, please, please don’t let it be that!!)
I’m usually paranoid about such things….. it’s just a part of my essential nature. So even though I’m curious as all heck, I’m also sorta scared to even consider showing up for the dinner reservations. I know only that the package was mailed locally (from our post office)…. and a quick phone call confirmed the reservation is indeed real, although it’s been made anonymously (or so they say... I work in a restaurant, so I know what 20 dollars in the right hand can do.) Just in case this was a continuation of the ongoing quest of the girls at work trying to “fix me up”, I cornered Samantha, our Hostess on break at work and practically threatened to slap her silly if this was some sort of joke. She swears none of them are behind this and that they don’t have a clue about it.
So there it is. As it happens, I actually do have Saturday night off from work….. but am I brave enough (or foolish enough) to accept this invitation? It’s going to drive me nuts thinking this over for the next couple of days…..
Anyways….. that’s my life lately in a nutshell. Until next time, “Meow, meow for now!!”
